Release tracking on this page starts in August 2026 — the developer didn't publish public notes for earlier builds, so we won't invent them. From here on, every Sort Feed update gets an entry within days of hitting the store.

How updates reach you

Chrome updates extensions silently in the background — you never download anything by hand. To confirm the build you're running, open chrome://extensions, find the extension card, and compare its version number against the newest entry above. If it lags, hit Developer mode → Update and reload your Instagram or TikTok tab; the exact sequence lives in the install guide.

For release chatter straight from the developer — what's being worked on before it ships — the community Discord and the X account are linked in the footer of every page here.

Why version tracking matters for research

Extensions that read social platforms live in an arms race: Instagram or TikTok reshuffles its page layout, the sort button vanishes for a day or two, and a patch release brings it back. When the button disappears, your first question should be "did the platform just change?" — and this page plus a 30-second version check answers it faster than reinstalling anything. Frequent small releases are a healthy sign here, not churn.

Platform coverage also arrives through these releases — YouTube and Facebook Reels support both shipped as updates rather than new products. If a platform you research isn't covered yet, watching this page is the cheapest way to catch the moment it lands. Button already missing on a supported site? Work through the six ordered fixes before assuming a bad release.
